Independence for Lawrence: pair of hearing aids
Lawrence needs a pair of hearing aids that the health system won't fund; the cost is $3,150.

I live with multiple sclerosis. My occupational therapist at London General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $3,150.
My current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment I could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $3,150 goes:
• pair of hearing aids: $2,500
• Fitting and training sessions: $175
• Delivery and set-up: $135
• First-year servicing plan: $340

Best of luck, Lawrence. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Greetings from Lagos
sending good thoughts, Lawrence. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Love from Bonny.
Wishing Lawrence a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Wish I lived closer to Caxias do Sul so I could bring a meal. All the best.
Get well soon. I went through something like this 2 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care
It takes guts to ask. Well done. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of London
