I live with muscular dystrophy. My occupational therapist at the Nagpur Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
My current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment I could attend work interviews. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.

• Fitting and training sessions: $35
• First-year servicing plan: $55

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. delivery and set-up is the biggest at $10.
