Independence for Krystyna: pair of hearing aids
Krystyna needs a pair of hearing aids that the health system won't fund; the cost is $1,650.

I live with a spinal cord injury. My occupational therapist at Kraków General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,650.
My current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment I could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $165
• Fitting and training sessions: $125
• pair of hearing aids: $1,360
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
