Independence for Kinsley: adapted tricycle
Kinsley needs an adapted tricycle that the health system won't fund; the cost is $5,150.

I live with muscular dystrophy. My occupational therapist at Glasgow General Hospital has assessed me and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $5,150.
My current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go to school independently. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $5,150 goes:
• adapted tricycle: $4,500
• Fitting and training sessions: $150
• Delivery and set-up: $160
• First-year servicing plan: $340
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Rooting for you, Kinsley. I hope things turn around soon. We're a small family in Dublin but we're thinking of you. Take care.
