Independence for Kenta: adapted tricycle
Help Kenta get an adapted tricycle so He can go outside without waiting for someone to push.
🇯🇵 Sakai, Osaka, Japan3,441 views
Kenta lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at the Sakai Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $3,300.
His current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment Kenta could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $3,300 goes:
• adapted tricycle: $2,700
• Fitting and training sessions: $270
• Delivery and set-up: $100
• First-year servicing plan: $230
Every share and every dollar helps.
