Independence for Kemi: stair-climbing aid
A stair-climbing aid would give Kemi independence - we are $950 away.

Kemi lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at the Gwagwalada Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $950.
Her current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Kemi could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $950 goes:
• stair-climbing aid: $840
• Fitting and training sessions: $35
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $50
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Praying for you, Nkechi. I hope things turn around soon. After 22 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
