Independence for John: pair of hearing aids
A pair of hearing aids would give John independence - we're $6,350 away.
🇺🇸 United States928 views
John lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at the Cincinnati Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $6,350.
His current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment John could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $6,350 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $250
• Fitting and training sessions: $360
• pair of hearing aids: $5,740
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Thank you all. We're at 7% now ($463). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward first-year servicing plan. - Jayden

Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I'm in retail myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless.
Hope things get better soon, Jayden. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I hope May is when things finally get easier.
