Johan lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at Rotterdam General Hospital has assessed him and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,450.
His current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Johan could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $2,450 goes:
• adapted tricycle: $1,850
• Fitting and training sessions: $200
• Delivery and set-up: $65
• First-year servicing plan: $335

Quick update: $363 raised so far (15%). I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
