Independence for Jide: adapted tricycle

An adapted tricycle would give Jide independence - we're $100 away.

Abuja
Jide lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at Abuja General Hospital has assessed him and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100. His current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 4 weeks. With the right equipment Jide could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $100 goes: • Delivery and set-up: $20 • Fitting and training sessions: $50 • First-year servicing plan: $30 Glad we found this place.
