Independence for Jasmine: pair of hearing aids
Jasmine needs a pair of hearing aids that the health system won't fund; the cost is $2,600.

Jasmine lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at Kingston General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,600.
Her current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment Jasmine could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $2,600 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $45
• pair of hearing aids: $2,450
• Fitting and training sessions: $105
Thanks for being kind about this.

It takes guts to ask. Well done. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless!
