Independence for Hye-jin: braille note-taker
A braille note-taker would give Hye-jin independence - we are $2,300 away.

I live with profound hearing loss. My occupational therapist at the Gangnam Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,300.
My current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment I could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $2,300 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $185
• Delivery and set-up: $45
• braille note-taker: $2,070
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Rooting for you. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. I went through something like this 12 years ago and strangers helped me out.
hang in there, Hye-jin. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Wish I lived closer to Malang so I could bring a meal.
