Independence for Ghassan: adapted tricycle
Help Ghassan get an adapted tricycle so He can go to school independently.
🇲🇦 Casablanca, Casablanca-Settat, Morocco62 views
I live with profound hearing loss. My occupational therapist at the Casablanca Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,650.
My current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go to school independently. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• adapted tricycle: $1,550
• Fitting and training sessions: $30
• Delivery and set-up: $30
• First-year servicing plan: $40
Every share and every dollar helps.
