Independence for Florian: adapted tricycle
Florian needs an adapted tricycle that the health system won't fund; the cost is $5,050.
🇫🇷 Marseille, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France39 views
Florian lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at Marseille General Hospital has assessed him and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $5,050.
His current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment Florian could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $5,050 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $200
• First-year servicing plan: $300
• adapted tricycle: $4,550
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
