Fitria lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Bogor Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $500. Her current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 10 weeks. With the right equipment Fitria could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $500 goes: • First-year servicing plan: $55 • Fitting and training sessions: $40 • communication tablet with eye tracking: $405 Glad we found this place.
