Independence for Festus: prosthetic leg
Help Festus get a prosthetic leg so He can go to school independently.
🇳🇬 Nigeria111 views
Festus lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at the Epe Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $350.
His current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment Festus could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $350 goes:
• prosthetic leg: $250
• Fitting and training sessions: $40
• Delivery and set-up: $20
• First-year servicing plan: $40
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. My neighbor in Arusha donated after I showed her your page. All the best!
