Independence for Elena: cochlear implant processor upgrade
Help Elena get a cochlear implant processor upgrade so She can go to school independently.
🇵🇭 Philippines126 views
I live with a rare neuromuscular condition. My occupational therapist at the Cebu City Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
My current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go to school independently. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $100 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $45
• Delivery and set-up: $30
Thank you so much.

Keep going, Elena. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I have a 8 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Love from Los Angeles.
Stay strong. Hope this works out for you. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless
hope things get better soon. Hope you get there. We're a small family in Ottawa but we're thinking of you. Blessings
