Independence for Dinesh: pair of hearing aids

Dinesh lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Mumbai Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $900. His current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 4 weeks. With the right equipment Dinesh could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
