Independence for Diana: powered wheelchair
A powered wheelchair would give Diana independence - we're $5,300 away.
🇮🇹 Parma, Emilia-Romagna, Italy1,320 views
I live with multiple sclerosis. My occupational therapist at the Parma Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $5,300.
My current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment I could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $5,300 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $210
• powered wheelchair: $5,000
• Delivery and set-up: $90

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Diana
Sending love, Diana. Wishing Diana a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Take care.
