Independence for Dewi: braille note-taker

Dewi lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Jakarta Selatan Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100. Her current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 10 weeks. With the right equipment Dewi could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
