Davi lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at Caxias do Sul General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,050. His current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 4 weeks. With the right equipment Davi could speak with the people around him. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $1,050 goes: • Delivery and set-up: $25 • Fitting and training sessions: $95 • stair-climbing aid: $930 Every share and every dollar helps.

  • Good luck, Rodrigo. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. God bless.

    • You're not alone, Rodrigo. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
