Clement lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at the Accra Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $800. His current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 8 weeks. With the right equipment Clement could speak with the people around him. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $800 goes: • stair-climbing aid: $750 • Fitting and training sessions: $25 • Delivery and set-up: $10 • First-year servicing plan: $15 If you're reading this, thank you. - Kweku
