Independence for Chiara: adapted tricycle
Chiara needs an adapted tricycle that the health system will not fund; the cost is $2,000.

Chiara lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at Bari General Hospital has assessed her and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,000.
Her current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment Chiara could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Chiara
Sure. The biggest one is adapted tricycle, $1,400. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Good question.
