Independence for Bianca: pair of hearing aids

A pair of hearing aids would give Bianca independence - we're $900 away.

Cluj-Napoca
Bianca lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at the Cluj-Napoca Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $900. Her current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 10 weeks. With the right equipment Bianca could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $900 goes: • Delivery and set-up: $75 • pair of hearing aids: $770 • Fitting and training sessions: $55 Thank you so much. - Adrian
