Beth lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at Albany General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $9,300.
Her current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment Beth could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Beth.
Sure. The biggest one is communication tablet with eye tracking, $8,750. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Happy to explain more.
