Bayu lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at the Denpasar Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
His current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment Bayu could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
