Independence for Ankit: specialist standing frame
A specialist standing frame would give Ankit independence - we are $100 away.
🇮🇳 India490 views
Ankit lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Nashik Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
His current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment Ankit could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $100 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $60
• Delivery and set-up: $15
Thanks for being kind about this.
