Independence for Ani: prosthetic leg
A prosthetic leg would give Ani independence - we're $1,150 away.
🇮🇩 Indonesia458 views
Ani lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at the Jakarta Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,150.
Her current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment Ani could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• prosthetic leg: $1,000
• Fitting and training sessions: $55
• Delivery and set-up: $30
• First-year servicing plan: $65
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
