Independence for Angel: communication tablet with eye tracking
Angel needs a communication tablet with eye tracking that the health system won't fund; the cost is $600.

Angel lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at the London Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $600.
His current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment Angel could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.

• Fitting and training sessions: $205
