Chiang Mai
Anan lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at Chiang Mai General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,700. His current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 12 weeks. With the right equipment Anan could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $1,700 goes: • Fitting and training sessions: $40 • First-year servicing plan: $45 • prosthetic leg: $1,615 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
