I live with cerebral palsy. My occupational therapist at the Mangaluru Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $900.
My current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $900 goes:

• Fitting and training sessions: $55
• Delivery and set-up: $10
• First-year servicing plan: $35

Sure. The biggest one is communication tablet with eye tracking, $800. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one.
