Independence for Allison: braille note-taker
Help Allison get a braille note-taker so She can join the school sports day.

Allison lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Los Angeles Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $5,750.
Her current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment Allison could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.

• Fitting and training sessions: $120
• Delivery and set-up: $240
• First-year servicing plan: $140
