Agus lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at Jakarta General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $550. His current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 6 weeks. With the right equipment Agus could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $550 goes: • First-year servicing plan: $25 • Fitting and training sessions: $30 • powered wheelchair: $495 Glad we found this place.
