Imran's knee replacement surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
Imran needs knee replacement surgery at Lahore Orthopedic Institute and the family is $750 short of the hospital's estimate.

In July I was diagnosed with severe cataracts in both eyes. My surgeon at Lahore Orthopedic Institute recommended knee replacement surgery, and I have been placed on the schedule for October. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $940, and after what the public health scheme will pay, I'm still $750 short.
Doctors at Lahore Orthopedic Institute told me severe cataracts in both eyes will get worse without knee replacement surgery. I work as a call-centre agent, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $940 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a call-centre agent have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
Recovery is expected to take about 4 weeks. I'll not be able to work a full shift during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $750 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $240
• Hospital stay (2 nights): $290
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $35
• Post-operative medication: $40
• Physiotherapy sessions: $100
• Travel and lodging for the family: $45
I hope life is good to you.
