Imani's stage 2 breast cancer treatment fund

Imani was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in February. The oncology team at Dar es Salaam Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in May. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Imani is 44, worked as a nurse until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Dar es Salaam Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
