Imani's kidney cancer treatment fund
Imani is facing kidney cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Imani was diagnosed with kidney cancer in December. The oncology team at Entebbe Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in March. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Imani is 30, worked as a bus conductor until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Entebbe Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $950 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $100
• Transport to Entebbe Cancer Centre: $80
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $770
