Iman's valve repair surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill

Iman was diagnosed with a cleft palate needing repair in August. The surgeon at Liverpool General Hospital recommended valve repair surgery, and She is scheduled for December. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $12,500, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $6,200 short.
my sister has been in and out of Liverpool General Hospital since August. The doctors say a cleft palate needing repair will get worse without valve repair surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $12,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Iman struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Iman won't be able to lift anything heavy, so the costs keep growing.

what's already covered and what's the $6,200 for?
Surgeon and anesthesia fees is $2,700 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Happy to explain more.
