I'm caring for my father, who's 92. After a diagnosis of dementia Ilham can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Ilham desperately wants to stay at home. I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer. Ilham worked all of his life as a shopkeeper, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back. Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference. Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies. Where the $600 goes: • Part-time carer (six months): $390 • Medication and prescriptions: $90 • Hospital bed and mattress rental: $70 • Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $50 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to. - Arief
