Ife's final semester of a nursing degree in Gwagwalada
Ife has worked and saved for four years to study a nursing degree; a $700 gap now stands between her and graduation.

Ife is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a nursing degree at Gwagwalada Community College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $700.
The registrar has said Ife can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Ife has a first-class average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Ife would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Ife isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Gwagwalada Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $700 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $185
• Final term tuition: $470
• Exam and lab fees: $10
• Textbooks and materials: $35
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Wishing you peace, Femi. It takes guts to ask. Well done
Hope you get there. We're a small family in Dodoma but we're thinking of you.
Good luck, Femi. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My husband and I read this together. All the best!
