A braille note-taker would give Ida independence - we're $7,400 away.

Ida lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at Gothenburg General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $7,400.
Her current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment Ida could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
