Ian's colon cancer treatment fund
Supporting Ian through colon cancer: medication, transport to Newcastle upon Tyne Cancer Centre, and living costs while He can't work.
🇬🇧 Newcastle upon Tyne, England, United Kingdom1,062 views
Ian was diagnosed with colon cancer in July. The oncology team at Newcastle upon Tyne Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Ian is 39, worked as a construction supervisor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Newcastle upon Tyne Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $9,600 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,000
• Scans and lab work: $1,400
• Transport to Newcastle upon Tyne Cancer Centre: $860
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $280
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,060
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

What exactly is the $9,600 for?
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. chemotherapy and medication not covered comes first ($6,000) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Appreciate you taking the time.
Rooting for you, Hannah. Looking forward to the next update. Blessings!
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'll check back for the next update. Take care
Thinking of you, Hannah. Shared it with a few friends.
hang in there, Hannah. Wishing Ian a smooth procedure and a full recovery. God bless.
best of luck. This could happen to any of us. Wish I lived closer to Brandon so I could bring a meal
Praying for you, Hannah. Hope this works out for you. I have a 16 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
