A scheduled a partial thyroidectomy in October is out of reach without help covering $2,950 of the cost.

Hyun-ju was diagnosed with a cleft palate needing repair in August. The surgeon at Mapo University Hospital recommended a partial thyroidectomy, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $3,700, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $2,950 short.
my wife has been in and out of Mapo University Hospital since August. The doctors say a cleft palate needing repair will get worse without a partial thyroidectomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $3,700 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Hyun-ju struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Hyun-ju won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
