Hyderabad earthquake relief - the Old Town settlement
Neighbors in the Old Town settlement are rebuilding after the earthquake; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.

The earthquake hit the Old Town settlement on 28 February. My home was one of 52 damaged, and 14 families are still in temporary shelter at the sports club.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $700 goes:
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $105
• Tools and labor for repairs: $240
• Roofing sheets and timber: $290
• Clean water and purification supplies: $65
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Javeria?
Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about bedding, blankets and mattresses, advice is welcome too. I'll keep the page updated.
More neighborhoods should do this. Put this on a community board in Prayagraj this morning. Thinking of Hyderabad.
