HVAC technician needed urgently: Mercedes's home isn't safe
Mercedes has a burst pipe behind the wall, and can't afford a licensed HVAC technician to fix it; a few hours of professional help would make the home safe.

In September an inspector told me that my home has a burst pipe behind the wall. It's a safety risk for me and my two small children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $1,400 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed HVAC technician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $130.
The job should take about eight hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a HVAC technician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Hope it all works out, Mercedes. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My neighbor in San Jose donated after I showed her your page.
Thanks for sharing this, Mercedes. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. God bless.
Hope things get better soon, Mercedes. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Blessings.
