Humaira's final semester of a computer science degree in Lahore

Humaira is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a computer science degree at Lahore University, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $350. The registrar has said Humaira can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Humaira has a 3.8 average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Humaira would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Humaira isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Lahore University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $350 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $100 • Final term tuition: $220 • Exam and lab fees: $10 • Textbooks and materials: $20 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Naveed
