Huda was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery in April. The surgeon at Riyadh Community Hospital recommended a craniotomy, and She is scheduled for July. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,550, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $2,050 short. my daughter has been in and out of Riyadh Community Hospital since April. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without a craniotomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,550 is more than we can find. While we wait, Huda struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there. The recovery period is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Huda won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
