Neighbors in the families of Riverside Lane are rebuilding after the house fire that spread across the block; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.

The house fire that spread across the block hit the families of Riverside Lane on 28 July. My home was one of 52 damaged, and 10 families are still in temporary shelter at a borrowed warehouse.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $900 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $520
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $110
• Food parcels for displaced families: $270
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
Updates from Ashwin
Update from Warangal: I met with the suppliers and confirmed the amounts. We're at 16% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us. - Ashwin
Thank you all. We're at 16% now ($146). I'm honestly stunned. the first invoice got paid this week.
Wanted to say thank you properly. 11% funded and the plan for roofing sheets and timber is now scheduled.
