House fire that spread across the block in Maringá: help the Eastgate district rebuild
After the house fire that spread across the block, families in the Eastgate district need clean water, roofing materials and bedding.

The house fire that spread across the block hit the Eastgate district on 1 May. My home was one of 42 damaged, and 5 families are still in temporary shelter at the sports club.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $2,100 goes:
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $210
• Food parcels for displaced families: $220
• Roofing sheets and timber: $1,350
• Clean water and purification supplies: $320
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Stay strong, Maurício. Hope this works out for you. We're a small family in Jakarta but we're thinking of you
Rooting for you, Maurício. More neighborhoods should do this. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best.
Rooting for you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best!
