Horace needs my pickup repaired to get back to work in Half-Way Tree
Horace's my pickup is Horace's only source of income and needs a clutch assembly replacement costing $550.
🇯🇲 Half-Way Tree, Saint Andrew, Jamaica530 views
I make my living with my pickup. 12 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $550. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $550 goes:
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $360
• Labor charges: $65
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $90
• Towing and inspection: $35
I hope life is good to you.

Best of luck, Horace. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My husband and I read this together. All the best.

Thinking of you and your family, Horace. Shared it with a few friends. My neighbor in San Diego donated after I showed her your page. All the best.
