Home care fund for Zahra in Aswan
Zahra, 88, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $600 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 88. After a diagnosis of dementia Zahra can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Zahra desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Zahra worked all of her life as a shopkeeper, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $600 goes:
• Part-time carer (four months): $420
• Medication and prescriptions: $120
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $60
