Home care fund for Xolani in Johannesburg
Xolani, 90, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $1,050 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 90. After a heart attack Xolani can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Xolani desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Xolani worked all of his life as a carpenter, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Part-time carer (three months): $760
• Medication and prescriptions: $230
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $60

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Xolani.
